The sanctuary has been refurbished to provide a versatile venue, perfect for artistic performances and private functions alike. Asbury Hall, as it is now called, accommodates banquets of 300 people, theatre seating for 800 or standing room for up to 1,000 guests. We've already played host to all sorts of local and national events including Ani DiFranco's inaugural concerts, the Gay & Lesbian Youth Services' Annual Gayla, Sweet Charity benefit for the Food Banks of WNY and a live taping of Lou Dobbs Tonight for CNN.

By renting Asbury Hall, this historic space will impress your guests with its warmth and charm. In addition, you get to be a part of the on-going preservation of this building. Your rental fees go directly toward ensuring that this building never again finds itself on the chopping block, but continues on as a shining example of how historic preservation works in Buffalo.

Babeville was created by artists with artists in mind; Ani DiFranco´s touch can be found in the distinctive green-and-peach color scheme, and in every nook and corner of the building. Every detail of Asbury Hall, both onstage and off, is informed by her experiences performing in venues around the world. The new state-of-the-art sound system makes Asbury Hall the perfect venue for both local and national acts, in addition to lectures, plays, panel discussions, dance and choral performances. Seating is available for 500 on the floor in our beautiful mahogany chairs with an additional 300 seats on historic pews up in the balcony.
