The Jacob Jay Quintet enjoys performing a collection of original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards around the Western New York area. Inspired by ensembles such as the great Miles Davis Quintets they strive to approach every tune with a unique interpretation. Members include Jacob Jay on trumpet/flugelhorn , Dalton Sharp on saxophones, Jake Malone-Brancato on piano, Ed Croft on bass, and Stephen Lattimore on drums. The JJ Quintet also features the 2016 Jazz Buffalo Poll Best male vocalist Shaun Doyle singing original arrangements of songs from the Great American Songbook.
